Overview

Razorfish recognizes the importance of Internet user privacy. For that reason, we want to keep you informed of our privacy practices through this web site.

The responsible use of cookies and web beacons (aka: action tags or pixel gifs) play an important role in the services Razorfish provides to its clients so they can better serve you, their customers.

Some of our clients provide Razorfish with personally identifiable information about their customers so we can perform services such as online campaign analysis and email campaigns. In addition, as part of our services, we may collect information about user interaction with client web sites and provide that information and our analysis to the client. All of this information belongs to the client and, as their customer, you should review the privacy policies of the sites you visit if you have any questions regarding how they use such information. Razorfish makes no other use of personally identifiable information obtained from or on behalf of its clients.

Policy Updates or Changes

Razorfish may update or change this privacy policy at any time and such changes will become effective immediately unless otherwise stated. Our web site will state the date it was last updated and we encourage you to review our privacy policy whenever you use this web site.

We hope you find this information helpful. Our goal is to present all the information in a format that is as readable as possible. Whatever you decide to do, we want you to be completely informed about how cookies work, and how we use information on the Internet. The issue of privacy is important to you and to us. Should you have any additional questions, please send an e-mail to hkmail@Razorfish.com .

The Use of Cookies and Web Beacons in online campaigns for clients

Cookies are tiny packets of information, usually less than one kilobyte, stored in the temporary files on your hard drive, and used by web sites to recognize a computer they have encountered before. In addition to our use of cookies, Razorfish uses a common internet technology called a web beacon, which is a clear gif not visible to the user, that collects certain anonymous information about your visit to a client's web site.

Razorfish uses its own cookies and web beacons as well as third party cookies and web beacon technology, for planning, serving, analyzing, and managing online campaigns and web sites. These tracking technologies collect anonymous data about users who view or interact with advertisements or client web sites. Such anonymous information may include an anonymous cookie ID, the specific advertisement posted on the site, and the time and place of delivery. These tracking technologies are not associated with any personal information about users. This anonymous information is returned to Razorfish or the third party for processing.

Third party cookies and action tags are subject to the privacy policy of the company placing them. For information about opting out of third party cookies, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative at www.networkadvertising.org .

Email Service on behalf of Razorfish clients

We do receive email addresses and other personally identifiable information to conduct email campaigns on behalf of our clients. We do not use this personally identifiable information for any purpose beyond the email campaign for the particular client. We may use tracking technology to determine the effectiveness of email campaigns, but we do not associate the personally identifiable information used in the email campaign with Razorfish or third party cookies or action tags.
